Kokrobite is a small rural fishing village approximately 20km from Accra

Kokrobite is stuck in a cycle of poverty and unemployment. Most people rely on income from informal jobs such as fishing and street vending.

The deeper issue is the severe disconnect between education and the skills requied in the labour market.

In local schools, children are taught theory rather than practical skills such as being taught computing without computers.

Without skills, there are no opportunities and without opportunities the cycle continues.
